Developing Teacher Effectiveness
It's a Single Process: Many staff development programs become derailed- even ultimately fail - when essential elements such as coaching or assessment are treated as separate issues rather than components in a single, cohesive effort. Long-term improvement can only occur within an articulated program in which elements of performance, growth, and evaluation work together to meet overarching goals of teacher effectiveness and student success. Such
integration is critical in producing vital learning communities.
We offer planning and training programs that integrate existing
elements into articulated processes, including:
- teacher evaluation instruments and processes
- peer-coaching programs
- linking student assessment to teacher growth
- hiring the right teachers-and mentoring them
- organizational planning
- curriculum and lesson design and integrated subject lessons
- best professional practices-and how to develop them
